介绍：Channel Islands Aviation opened in 1976 when Mark and Janie Oberman were selected as the first operator at the Camarillo Airport, formally the Oxnard Air Force Base. For over the past thirty-five years, Channel Islands Aviation has been Camarillo Airport’s premier locally owned and operated “FBO” or Fixed Base Operator. With two generations working in the business, Channel Islands Aviation has a bright future to continue its reputation for years to come.

Channel Islands Aviation offers a variety of services which include New Cessna aircraft sales as a Cessna Sales Team Authorized Representative (CSTAR), Cessna Pilot Center (CPC) flight training, Chevron 100 LL and Jet-A fuel sales, ramp services and hangar storage, jet and turbo prop charter, parts, maintenance and avionics. Additionally, Channel Islands Aviation is an official concessionaire to the Channel Islands National Park providing aerial support for the National Park Service, Nature Conservancy, USCB, the general public and more.

Conveniently located adjacent to transient parking and the Waypoint Café, Channel Islands Aviation’s facility includes two large hangars totaling 34,500 square feet of hangar space. Additionally, their facility encompasses 30,500 square feet of offices, lobby, school classrooms, pilot’s lounge, conference room and flight planning area.

Channel Islands Aviation operates a first class Cessna Pilot Center flight school that was awarded Cessna’s national Diamond Award for “exceeding company operational standards and for excellence in flight training.” Over fifty percent of our training and rental fleet is model 2004 or newer and we have been providing Garmin G1000 training since the system was introduced in 2004. We are also the first flight school in Ventura County to operate and offer Redbird Flight Simulator Training at the Camarillo Airport.
