Established in 2010, WholeRen, LLC is a multinational company that partners with schools and students in the U.S. and China to create cross-cultural learning experiences. Starting in 2017, WholeRen is collaborating with Visionary Machines LLC, a robotics software startup affiliated with Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. Visionary Machines LLC is developing a programming framework called Calypso that makes sophisticated robot programming accessible to people of all ages. We're looking for a strong JavaScript and Python programmer to join our development team. Prior robotics experience is not required, but basic computer graphics skills would be helpful. The work primarily involves improving the Calypso graphical user interface and adding new language features.

We're looking to hire someone who understands how to develop software that will be read and maintained by others.
